Charles Carroll IV MD has over 30 years of experience in the diagnosis, treatment and care of conditions of the Hand. He takes pride in providing non-operative care in most cases. He uses surgical techniques when conservative measures are not successful. He is current with the cutting edge techniques in the field. He has significant surgical experience but takes pride in his success with non-surgical care. He has extensive experience in finger injuries, hand injuries and wrist injuries ranging from fractures to instablity to sports and equine injuries, and to soft tissue injuries. Dr. Carroll is up to date with nerve and tendon injuries. He also has an extensive background in Dupuytren's Disease (palmar fasciitis), arthritis, trigger fingers and carpal tunnel syndrome with insights on surgical and non surgical care. He has done research and written on multiple topics in the care of the hand. He is an active member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand and holds the Certificate of Added Qualification for Surgery of the Hand and has been certified since 1992.
