In researching Dr. Carroll, I found out that I live in a different state than him. However, in trying to verify that he had actually moved and that it was not an old location,....something happened. HE CALLED me. Yes, Dr. Carroll himself called me,... not a nurse, not an Aid, nor "someone from the office". The man himself,...called me! I'm 51 and in all my years only 3 Dr.'s themselves have called me,.......themselves. I don't know about you but that tells me a very good thing about his personality and likely his bedside manner. By the way, If you look up this mans credentials, you will like it also as I did. It only starts at University of Maryland, Then Johns Hopkins, and better from there.

Dr. Carroll and his team were superb, repairing the first two fingers of my left hand, after a horseback riding incident. During this time of dealing with covid, it was wonderful to see an expert physician in his field, and so close to home! I did not have to deal with going into areas of Virginia where the pandemic numbers were high. I did not have to wait in a crowded waiting room in Northern VA, wondering if the persons on either side of me were covid positive. My left hand is back to normal and I am riding again and doing all the things I previously did before my accident. Thank you Dr. Carroll and Bean for the wonderful care, so close to home, in a safe environment!

I have been a patient of Dr. Carroll's for at least 20 years. Due to bad luck on my part as well as a job which featured much repetitive movement, I have needed a variety of hand, wrist and thumb surgeries over the years. Dr. Carroll was first recommended to me by my physical therapist and for that I am forever grateful. Upon our first meeting, his manner put me completely at ease and I felt I could totally trust him. No matter the surgery he performed, I always had an excellent outcome and a complete recovery. One of the most important things about Dr. Carroll is that he LISTENS to his patients and respects what we have to say. This fact alone makes for a fantastic doctor-patient relationship.
